Love vs. Compromise

Season 1 Episode 5
The month of February has been denoted as the month for relationship talk. This is the kick off episode.
SUMMARY:
If you have ever heard someone say “A good relationship is all about the compromise” … You should challenge that!  If you have ever looked ‘compromise’ up in the dictionary, then you probably would not want ‘compromise’ to be a descriptor of the foundation of your relationship. A relationship with a foundation of LOVE is what we propose. Unconditional love. A love with no conditions.
TH!NK CHALLENGE:
TH!NK about your relationship and how you interact with your significant other…is it all about the compromise or is it about unconditional love.To assist with TH!NKing different, we challenge you to find a stronger word to describe your relationship besides compromise. We suggest Support or Love.

How do you eat an elephant?

January 21, 2008 Season 1, Episode 3

SUMMARY:

How do you an elephant is a metaphor for taking on a possible task that initially may seem impossible.
Alonzo Jennings uses the Rubik’s cube and a systematic approach of a plan, visualizing the completed goal and taking one step at a time to demonstrate the impossible made easy.

TH!NK CHALLENGE:
Make a list of somethings you’d like create, a goal you’d like to complete, or a place you’d like to go.
I want to encourage you to dream big. Write down that one dream you have always had …. Just list it, especially if it seems impossible or really big.

After you had done that… To the right of the listed goals, write down a single task that you could do before you go to sleep that would take a step in the direction of completion.
What is one single small step that you could take to get that ball moving in the right direction?
Similar to the Rubik’s cube and placing one single cube in position at a time until they add up to a completed goal.

SUMMARY:
It might be said that sometimes in our life, we accept and hold on to so many beliefs without challenging of there validity. Whether they be facts, truths or even myths, these beliefs were handed down to us from outside influences and we just accepted them, held on to them and now use them as givens in our day to day activities. Conditioned to respect the sources of this information, like our schools, our church, our mothers and fathers the contesting of the authenticity of these beliefs were discouraged.

As we evolve into our OWN being, there comes a time that we need to engage our beliefs and TH!NK for ourselves.

TH!NK about your diet, your religion, your political beliefs and your willingness to be open minded.

TH!NK CHALLENGE:
I challenge you to stand up and TH!NK about your beliefs. I encourage you to BE YOU, don’t just accept hand me down beliefs or inherit things that you don’t understand. Step out on your own experiences, feelings and TH!NK.
